India is literally under Italian occupation and I cannot answer this question but definitely Digvijay Singh merits for the highest Italian award (equivalent to Bharat Ratna) and we are morally obliged to refer his name to the Italian parliament for his extraordinary service to Maino dynasty.

Recently I read in News paper that Congress workers from across states are seeking Bharat Ratna for Sonia Gandhi.... Who knows very soon she will be the first Italian to get Bharat Ratna...
