Lead India programme by Times of India is nothing but a great Mockery, Betrayal and Hypocrisy

Lead India positions Times of India to lead the mockery, hypocrisy and betrayal as it is systematically carried out by most of the Indian mainstream media. We have seen reality shows that has attempted (and miserably failed in most of cases) to search singing and dancing talents and now TOI has decided to take the moral high ground to make an all India combing operation to search, select and hopefully elect leaders.

This is a mother of hypocrisy and grand mother of mockery. People are thinking why this great newspaper who is run by some low grade paparatzis suddenly finds interest outside Bollywood, socialite swinger parties, mud slinging and mediocrity. I am not sure which foreign television program they are copying but one can bet anything that this is certainly not their original thinking as originality is something which is an alien virtue to our intellectuals.

Basically, our so called intellectuals are driven by a very hard herd mentality and anything that is popular or gets publicity is West is shamelessly copied and circulated. So the Lead India in so exception and I am sure very soon somebody will be finding out which programme they have copied.

But that is not the issue, it is guaranteed and expected that this is just another reality television show that the TOI is trying to sell and get some cash from advertisers. I think leaders are possibly the last thing that can be found and selected from reality shows and the funniest part is that the leadership that TOI is trying to replace with the young blood thru this noble and novel concept are actually going to judge and endorse the show.

Nothing can be more ridiculous when Big B and Ajay Devgan and Praful Patel talks of Lead India. They would be the last person to back the show if the the show really has the intent or potential to find and position new leaders. But everyone knows that this is another soap opera and for the Big B tribe another money making opportunity, so why let it go. For the viewers, we are probably a bit tired about the VOI type programs, so lets see TOI program for a change of course between the Bollywood masalas that are beamed 24/7 to every household.

I have seen the advertisement of this TOI Lead India but what exactly is going to happen????? Are we now going to elect leaders from Times of India bypassing the Election Commission??? I am totally lost, can anyone throw some light? At least then we will be saved from the exit polls from these pundits. Holy Cow! I think country's high courts and supreme court will also be soon made redundant by these newspapers channels.
