Dr Vijay Mallya has crossed all limits of decency and audacity. He has told that he will offer the sacked air hostesses of Jet Airways jobs of cheer girls in the IPL; is he is making mockery of their misfortune or he thinks that women are commodities and can be used anywhere where ever he deems fit?
Have these women invested time and money for being cheer leaders in cricket matches? Is he fool that he does not know the difference between a career job and gigs? Or he thinks that women are slaves and he can do whatever he wants to do with them? He must be seek a public apology for his insensitive and arrogant behavior and people should remind him that being a rich man does not give him automatic license to insult and hurt people. If he is not checked then I will not be surprised he offers some girls jobs of prostitutes in countries abroad where prostitution is legal and any businessman can pursue prostitution and allied trades like pornography as legal business entity. Dr Mallya, we all know that you try to imitate Sir Richard Branson but let me tell you you will never reach that stature. Mr Branson is a self made man whereas you have inherited a business fortune made by your ancestors and probably your only contribution to the business is the Kingfisher calendar. Secondly, whatever Branson has ventured into, he has made almost everything into a big success excepting Virgin cola, whereas excepting your liquor business everything else is struggling. So please concentrate on your business and you need not worry about rehabilitating women, women are not commodities that you buy them and use for your any needs. Sangitha you cannot take an off the cuff remark into a serious debate. I think he has just satirically remarked about the issue, meanwhile Jet has taken back all its sacked employees. I don t know why they sacked and and did a 360 degree turn around maybe they found it too much of negative publicity. I am sure all our blogging has worked wornders.

sangita, cabin crew job is not career..mayb u feel like that. i have been in cabin crew in international airlines. when i left my job and attended interview in india, i was asked what were u doing as cabin crew member. i said i serve people with food within restricted time limit. then person asked me, other than serving and smiling on flight what u did..i was dumb..then person who did interview said, even in hotels they do same thing. u r not much bigger person than server in hotel. to become cabin crew, one just needs to be cheer person..to keep business going, in way its business strategy for vm to keep aircrafts flying..he does not force anyone to join..whoever is interested can approach..still..there are lot of indian girls who want to just become cabin crew girls..all in the game.

Mr. Mallaya thinks he is Howard Hughes re-incarnated, never mind; but what's more annoying is that the Indians hails him as if he were some kind of God or soemthing!! That is paethetic

Well Mallya's personal interest in producing Kingfisher calender gals and models along with photographers has been high point of his career. The recent FORCE INDIA and IPL Royal challengers has been high point of sports involvement. He is definitely associated with glamour with his Racing sponsorship. Throwing parties has been his style or signature. Celeberation is just an excuse to promote liqour cosumption. Many envy his as a demi-god for status. If they fall sick than Mallya hospital is always there to provide care a 5 star rates.

Holy Cow! Who is this Howard Huges? Let me spend some time in researching out to have a better idea about Mallya, creative lots of thanks for this clue :)

@ Derebail, Mallya hospital rates are not like Manipal or Columbia Asia and therefore it cannot be called as 5-star, also the treatment is not bad, I think it is one of the good hospitals in Bangalore, correct me if I am wrong.

@ creative, Howard Huges is also known for his philanthropy and so Mr Mallya cannot rightly think of himself as the reincarnated Howard Huges as nobody has ever heard of any acts of philanthropy from this man (rather the whole India Inc.). I think Sangita is correct, Vijay Mallya imitates Richard Branson to a great degree.

Mallya hospital has some pitfalls in terms of treatment cost, they don t oblige to add to your bills when you have to get outsourcing done. We spent Rs 10,000 because they did not have platlets facility, if they had to source it they would have probably got some cut. Now we don t know who has taken the cut, the docs or the hospital. Lol This is based on the normal practise of diagonistic centres giving cut.

Yes, Maverick... he is already feeling the heat from his airlines misadventure... I know many will not agree but I will call it a misadventure only... also force india and IPL are big floppers, in IPL he picked a old man's team comprising if all timid players and lost almost all games... sometimes I think he plans his business ventures to get girls as it is invariably linked with girls, he proudly announced when the started kingfisher airlines that he has personally selected all air hostesses, what message he meant to give from this statement? Can anyone clarify??

Thought provoking post. I appreciate your views & do agree with you, women are not commodities that anyone can buy and use them for their needs. A nice advice to Dr Vijay Mallya, hope this message has reached to Mr Mallya.

Bollocks! You are doing nothing but trying to create cheap sensationalism, Mallya is not dragging girls out of home and making them forcefully air hostesses, nude models or cheerleaders. What's wrong if he offers sacked air hostesses jobs for cheerleaders? He cannot offer them job as nuns for Missionaries of Charity!!

Holy Cow!!! I am just thinking if he would be offering jobs of cheerleaders to nuns also? LOL :P
